On December 12-13, the 2nd Conference of Armenian Studies Centres was held – the second edition of an international conference devoted to research on Armenia and Armenian heritage.
The event was attended by Armenian scholars from around the globe, as well as prominent Polish specialists in Armenian studies, representing leading academic and research centres. The conference formed a crucial platform for the exchange of knowledge and experiences, along with the presentation of current research trends. The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of the Republic of Armenia was represented at the conference by Deputy Minister Artur Martirosyan, and the Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Poland by His Excellency Ambassador Alexander Arzoumanian, Attaché of the Embassy of Armenia Vachik Martirosyan, and Honorary Consul of the Republic of Armenia Hrazhya Bojadżjan.
Among the events accompanying the conference was the grand opening of the exhibition entitled "Towards Mount Ararat. Armenian Studies of Eugeniusz L. Słuszkiewicz" at the AMU University Library. The exhibit showcased the academic achievements of Eugeniusz L. Słuszkiewicz and the history and significance of Armenian studies, serving as an excellent complement to the conference's visionary program.
"The 2nd Conference of Armenian Studies Centers" w Poznaniu była ważnym wydarzeniem dla międzynarodowego środowiska akademickiego, wzmacniającym dialog naukowy oraz podkreślającym znaczenie badań nad kulturą, historią i językiem Armenii. Konferencja została w całości sfinansowana przez Ministerstwo Edukacji, Nauki, Kultury i Sportu Republiki Armenii, a jej organizatorem był Uniwersytet im. Adama Mickiewicza w Poznaniu, który po raz kolejny potwierdził swoją aktywną rolę w rozwijaniu międzynarodowej współpracy naukowej.
