The 8th edition of the GEOPRAKTyki project entitled 'Saharan Sands of Mauritania' has reached its end. After three weeks of battling with temperatures above 40°C and the ever-present sand, the participants returned home.
For years, the primary motivation for the trip has been the scientific nature, where each individual is challenged to complete set research objectives. The plan for the expedition each year is dictated by the specific arrangements of the young scientists. The expedition's scientific supervisor was Dr Magdalena Kugiejko.
This time, the research results will be presented in a PPTG meeting.
