The 20th edition of the City of Poznań competition for the best master's and doctoral theses has begun.
The city will award prizes for the best master's and doctoral theses defended in 2022-2023 at Poznań universities and scientific institutions.
Doctoral and master's theses in fields and disciplines of science that may be used in the functioning, development or promotion of Poznań may be submitted to the competition. In this way, the city wants to involve young scientists in work for the city and promote the scientific achievements of the Poznań academic centre.
The deadline for receiving applications is November 15 this year.
In both the doctoral and master's theses categories, the Award Committee will award three equivalent cash prizes and distinctions.
The application for the award should be submitted in paper form to the Poznań City Hall Submission Office (Poznań, pl. Kolegiacki 17) or sent to the correspondence address of the Department of City Development and International Cooperation of the Poznań City Hall (Poznań, pl. Kolegiacki 17). You should also send its electronic version to: Akademikipoznan@um.poznan.pl (Word file).
The remaining required documents (summary of the thesis, full text of the thesis, two opinions and possible publications) should be sent only in electronic version to the following address: Akademikipoznan@um.poznan.pl in the form of attachments or link(s) for download.
Competition applications may be submitted individually by the author(s) of the work or by the university's Rector.
