The City of Poznań for the first time in the QS Best Student Cities 2023 ranking

The results of the QS Best Student Cities 2023 listing the most attractive cities for international students have been published. This year's ranking includes the City of Poznań for the first time.

The first three places were taken by London, Tokyo and Seoul. Poznań was ranked 142nd in the global ranking, taking 4th place in the country after Warsaw (60th), Krakow (93rd) and Wroclaw (127th). The fifth and final Polish city included in this chart is Gdańsk (151-160).

To be considered for the listing, a city must have a population of more than 250 000 residents and at least two universities ranked in the latest QS World University Rankings.

The QS Best Student Cities ranking is structured on the basis of a variety of indicators grouped into six categories: University Rankings (University Rankings), Student Diversity (Student Mix), Attractiveness (Desirability), Employer Activity (Employer Activity), Affordability (Affordability) and Student View (Student Perspective).
