The Committee on Defence and Security of the Visegrád Parliaments met at the AMU

On Monday, 28 October, a meeting of the Committee on Defence and Security of the Parliaments of the Visegrad Group Countries was held at the Lubrański Hall of the AMU's Collegium Minus. Before the commencement of the session, the representatives of the Polish, Czech, Hungarian and Slovenian Parliaments laid flowers at the Monument to the June 1956.

The meeting included discussions on cyber security, ICT and cryptology in the face of hybrid threats, the so-called ‘Air Policing’ missions, and shaping the civilian and military resilience of societies against disinformation and manipulation. Following the gathering at AMU, parliamentarians from the Visegrád Group countries toured the 31st Tactical Air Base.
