The European Conference PHYSICS OF MAGNETISM 2023

The European Conference PHYSICS OF MAGNETISM 2023 (PM'23) was held at the Faculty of Physics from 26.06-30.06.

The symposium has been organised jointly by the Faculty of Physics of the Adam Mickiewicz University and the Institute of Molecular Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences in Poznan since 1975, regularly every 3 years. This year's conference was dedicated to the memory of Prof. Roman Micnas, who passed away in 2022 and was a co-organiser of the previous ten editions of the conference.

The event was attended by a large number of scientists from all around the globe, including 28 invited lecturers, researchers presenting oral and poster presentations, as well as nine young scientists honoured in the 'Young & Brillant' session. In total, the conference brought together more than 270 scientists presenting their results in the field of magnetism physics.

In addition to the academic part, where participants were able to deepen their knowledge of research related to the field of magnetism, there was also time for discussions and exchange of experiences, as well as several side events, i.e. an integration meeting (welcome party), a conference dinner or the concert 'Tango Passion' Wiesław Prządka and Quintento Tango Nuevo, which took place in the University Auditorium.
