"I believe it is the longest Christmas tree chain at the University!" - says the Vice-Dean for Student Affairs of the AMU Faculty of English, Dr Katarzyna Remieszewska. Along with Dr Anna Jelec and the Student Council of the AMU Faculty of English, they organised the campaign to create a Christmas tree chain wrapping the three floors of the Collegium Heliodori!
- "It was supposed to be a kind of symbolic gesture, showing that we are starting to bond together, and it is meant to be something permanent and extraordinary!" - added Dr Remiszewska. Students from AMU's Faculty of English taped the chain together for two hours, enjoying coffee and gingerbread, allowing them to decorate the historic 1929 building. Forty-five rings of the chain are (to a significant approximation) about 2 metres.
