The MaMLiSE project (MaMLiSE: Majority and Minority Languages in School Environment: Helping Teachers, Students and Parents), implemented at the AMU Faculty of Modern Languages and Literatures, has been awarded the European Language Label 2024 Certificate!

This recognition highlights the project's exceptional innovation, community engagement, and practical approach to language learning. The materials developed within the project contribute to fostering a more inclusive, multilingual school environment, supporting the academic growth and success of all students, regardless of their linguistic backgrounds and repertoires.

The MaMLiSE project was led by an international consortium under the coordination of Prof. Anna Szczepaniak-Kozak from AMU, alongside Prof. Emilia Wąsikiewicz-Firlej and Prof. Sylwia Adamczak-Krysztofowicz, both faculty members from the AMU Faculty of Modern Languages and Literatures. The consortium included eight organizations from four countries. In addition to AMU, Poland was represented by the Teacher Training Centre in Poznań. Other participants included three German universities—the University of Bremen, the University of Bielefeld, and the University of Paderborn—along with the University of Limerick (Ireland) and two partners from Greece: the Patra/Athens Institute of Computer and Press Technology and the Intercultural Middle School in Ioannina.

We extend our heartfelt congratulations to the entire team for this remarkable achievement!
