Over the past week, we welcomed the Rector of Vasyl Stefanyk Precarpathian National University, our partner university, Prof. Igor Tsepeda, and his plenipotentiary, Prof. Mykola Stovban.

The guests were officially greeted in the Rector's office by AMU Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, Prof. Rafał Witkowski. The discussion concerned not only cooperation between the universities but also the current situation of Ukrainian higher education, further potential development, university consolidation and ongoing and planned reforms.

After the meeting, the visitors headed to the AMU Chancellor's Office, where the talks focused on the university's development strategy in peace and war conditions, its regionalisation, and the principles of state dating. The significance of international cooperation and the experience that lies behind it was also emphasised.

Visitors also had the opportunity to familiarise themselves with the structure and functioning of our university. It was presented by Ms Natalia Labiak and Dr Kostiantyn Mazur at the AMU Welcome Centre.

The visit also included a historical tour of Poznań with Mr Paweł Sowa.

The recent visit is undoubtedly a prominent milestone in further cooperation.
