The Polish-Ukrainian Student Project TOGETHER is the result of cooperation between the academic communities of Poland and Ukraine. It was launched in June 2023 during a summer school for Ukrainian students held at the Faculty of Educational Studies. It is now time to summarise this initiative.
The conference 'Together towards the Future' was held on 28 June at the AMU Faculty of Educational Studies.
- 'We have been conducting joint research and implementing educational and therapeutic projects for several months,' said Professor Kinga Kuszak, Dean of the Faculty of Educational Studies. - Despite the distance separating us, we regularly met remotely, shared the results of our activities and motivated each other to work. The fusion of our scientific potential, educational experience and human enthusiasm resulted in an unusual scientific conference, presenting the results of our research, didactic projects, an exhibition and didactic materials in Polish and Ukrainian for teachers in Poland and Ukraine," added Prof. Kinga Kuszak.
Friday's meeting was preceded by a week of integration - the 'Summer School: Together towards the Future' for
Ukrainian students, during which participants took part in workshops and didactic games, created joint exhibitions, educational installations and audio and video recordings.
