The Senate of Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznan strongly condemns the aggression of the Russian Federation on the territory of Ukraine.
This attack constitutes a violation of sovereignty and territorial integrity of an independent state, international agreements and standards respected in the contemporary world. It also poses a threat to peaceful cooperation between the countries of Europe and the world.
We stand in solidarity with the Ukrainian nation as a whole, and in particular with the citizens of this country who are part of our academic community. The University will make every effort to support in every possible way the students, PhD candidates and employees of AMU coming from Ukraine, as well as their Relatives.
We appeal to the authorities of the Russian Federation to immediately cease hostilities and withdraw troops from the territory of Ukraine.
