The entire university community is invited to celebrate the 105th anniversary of the University of Poznan on 6-7 May this year. The details of the jubilee events are available at https://amu.edu.pl/en/105th-anniversary-of-the-university-of-poznan.
We warmly invite you to a May Concert, to be held on Tuesday, 7th May, at 6.30 p.m. in the University Hall ( ul. H. Wieniawskiego 1). The performance will feature the AMU Academic Choir conducted by Beata Bielska with special guest Magda Umer. During the concert, the audience will be introduced to the most popular songs featuring the lyrics of Agnieszka Osiecka (Uciekaj moje serce, Małgośka or Zielono mi), interwoven with memories and narration by Magda Umer. The event will be hosted by Professor Piotr Łuszczykiewicz.

Please note that due to the modernisation and maintenance work on the AMU-NET servers and active devices of the computer network (from 30th April at 4.30 p.m. to 6th May at 7 a.m.), there might be disruptions in access to all services provided by the IT Centre, including the possibility of booking entrance tickets.
On 7th May, visitors are also welcome to attend a march in honour of the founding of the University of Poznań by the senates of the four Poznań Universities from the premises of the PTPN ( ul. Mielżyńskiego) to the Collegium Minus, hosting a ceremonial session of the senates of the universities of common ancestry.
The public may also attend a scientific seminar on 105 years of the University of Poznań: Remembering the Past, Looking to the Future, scheduled for 6th May at 11.30 a.m. in the hall named after Professor Ludwika Izabela Dobrzyńska-Rybicka (room XVII) in Collegium Minus. Before this, a plaque dedicated to the first female professor at Poznań University will be unveiled.
