The Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science cordially invite You to lecture on "Separable reductions, rich families and projectional skeletons in non-separable Banach spaces", given by prof. Marian Fabian from the Institute of Mathematics of the Czech Academy of Sciences in Prague. The event will be held on Tuesday, January 17, at 1 pm, via Zoom platform.
Prof. Marian Fabian, of the Institute of Mathematics of the Czech Academy of Sciences in Prague, is an outstanding specialist in linear and nonlinear functional analysis. Many of his publications are related to Banach space theory. He is the author and co-author of three popular monographs on the geometry of Banach spaces and applications of descriptive topology in functional analysis. Prof. Fabian's scientific publications have nearly 2,000 citations.
The abstract of the lecture is available here.
The lecture is a part of the "AMU Invite Lecture Series". The event is funded by the ID-UB project.
