The Faculty of English cordially invites You to lecture on ''Cyclicity Indo-European non-primary derivation'', given by Dr Anthony Yates from Munich/UCLA. The event will be held on the 1st of December 2022, at 6:30 pm, at Collegium Heliodori Święcicki.
Dr. Yates will discuss his current research on cyclic effects in the morphophonology of Proto-Indo-European and the oldest Indo-European languages, specifically with respect to derivation of non-primary nominal forms. The lecture will be of interest to all interested in language change, phonological theory (especially Lexical Phonology and Optimality Theory), and morpho(phono)logical reconstruction.
