Canadian Literature Research Unit at the Faculty of English would like to cordially invite all students and staff to participate in our annual Maple Syrup Day. This year's Maple Syrup Day is taking place online--on Moodle--so anyone can participate! If you want to join us, scan the QR code featured on the poster or click on the link below. Access fun and challenging quizzes and activities, learn about and test your knowledge of Canadian culture, history and literature. Discover hidden passwords to unlock even more exciting tasks! The first few students who prove their Canadian connoisseurship and discover the final password will receive a prize!
Want to join the fun? Go to the Maple Syrup Course (QR code or link) on Moodle and enter the password: syrup. The course will open on December 20 at 9am.
Wait… there’s one more thing! If you write poetry, draw, or paint, send us a poem, a drawing, or a painting that represents your own interpretation of the Maple Syrup theme. The winner will receive their very own bottle of maple syrup and a book by a Canadian author! Send your submissions to maplesyrupday2021@gmail.com by Dec. 28. The winner(s) will be announced and contacted after the holiday break.
The organizers would like to acknowledge the financial support from the AMU Welcome Center.
