The Rector of Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, Prof. Bogumiła Kaniewska, invites the University community to the traditional May Concert, which will be held on 7 May at 6 p.m. in the University Auditorium.
The Senate of the Republic of Poland has established the year 2023 as the year of, among others, Wisława Szymborska. This is an extraordinary occasion for the writings of our Nobel Prize laureate to resonate from the stage during a live concert accompanied by music created especially for this event.
The special guest will be Professor Michał Rusinek, Wisława Szymborska's long-time secretary, who will conduct the show, inviting the audience into the world created by the great poet's words.
Invitations are required for the concert. They can be downloaded for free at concerts.amu.edu.pl from 27 April to 7 May inclusive or until the stock lasts.
