On behalf of our Rector, Prof. Bogumiła Kaniewska, we cordially invite the university community to a New Year's Special Concert on "Music for Christmas from Spanish cathedrals and missions in America". The event will be held on the 8th of January 2023 at 7 pm at University Hall.
The concert will be performed by the University's artistic groups: the Academic Choir of the Adam Mickiewicz University conducted by Beata Bielska, the Chamber Choir of the Adam Mickiewicz University under the direction of Prof. Krzysztof Szydzisz and Dr Joanna Piech-Sławecka, and the Chamber Orchestra of the Adam Mickiewicz University conducted by Aleksander Gref.
The event will be hosted by Rev. Prof. Piotr Nawrot, presenting his research on early music from the New World.
Admission to the concert is by invitation. Invitations for senators have been sent by email. Invitations for staff, retirees, doctoral students and students will be available for download via https://koncerty.amu.edu.pl/ from the 2nd to the 8th of January, 2023 inclusive.
