The Rector of Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań, Prof. Bogumiła Kaniewska, cordially invites the University community to the traditional New Year's Concert, which will be held on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at 6 p.m. in the University Hall.
The concert will feature performances by the university's artistic ensembles: the AMU Chamber Choir conducted by Krzysztof Szydzisz and Joanna Piech-Sławecka, the AMU Academic Choir directed by Beata Bielska, and the AMU Chamber Orchestra conducted by Aleksander Gref. The programme includes contemporary arrangements of classical and popular melodies, and, in keeping with the New Year's atmosphere, a few Christmas carols and lighter entertainment repertoire.
Admission to the concert will be possible only upon the presentation of invitations and tickets. The invitations for senators were sent via the Seat Reservation System to their e-mail addresses, with the option of automatic confirmation of participation (for 1 or 2 seats) or cancellation.
PLEASE NOTE! The deadline to confirm your invitation is midnight on December 23, 2025. The system will block any changes after this date.
Invitations for employees, retirees, doctoral students, and students will be available for download through the Seat Reservation System at srm.amu.edu.pl. You can access these invitations from December 29 this year at 9:00 a.m. until January 11, 2026, or until the available seats are filled.
Due to the high interest in this event, we kindly ask that you adhere to the booking deadlines. After downloading your tickets, if you are unable to attend the event for any reason, please return your tickets to the pool through the Seat Reservation System.
