As part of the 105th anniversary of the University of Poznan, the AMU Museum has prepared an exhibition entitled ‘One hundred and five’, under the patronage of the rectors of four Poznań universities: Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań, University Physical Education, Poznań University of Medical Sciences, Poznań University of Life Sciences and the Chairman of the Poznań Society for the Advancement of Arts and Sciences.
The exhibition will be presented at the Museum of Applied Arts in the Przemysł Castle in Poznań, a branch of the National Museum, from 3 October to 1 December 2024. The opening will be held on October 3 at 6 p.m.
The display can be visited independently or with a guide by prior reservation (+48 61 829 47 40).

About the exhibition
The ‘Hundred and Five’ exhibition presents the most representative and presentable objects from our collections in 5 thematic blocks, including a reconstruction of the sceptre of the first rector of the university, Professor Heliodor Święcicki (the author of the restoration is Grzegorz Godawa). Visitors can peek inside a dormitory from the 1970s, decipher the mysterious signs on students' caps and familiarise themselves with old research equipment.
We prepared curatorial tours of the exhibition and thematic lectures. Details on the UAM Museum's Facebook page and website: www.muzeum.amu.edu.pl.
Exhibition authors: Andrzej Gulczyński, Agnieszka Wajroch, Marta Włodarczyk-Rybacka
Arrangement and design: Agnieszka Wajroch
We wish to thank all the museum's donors and all the individuals involved in the exhibition's organisation!
