Dear International Students,
you are welcome to visit the Botanical Garden of Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań.
This is a place for numerous cultural and art events beeing organized. Many plein-air painting, sculpture and photography workshops take place here. The Exhibition and Education Centre houses temporary exhibitions presenting works of art connected with nature. Most of all the Garden is one of the most popular and most often visited parks in Poznań.
The Botanical Garden possesses documented plant collections for scientific, didactic and educational purposes. They are divided into specific sections.
New and modern Exhibition Centre was opened in 2006 in a central part of the Garden.
It is located nearby the wooden historic Summer Hall.
There is no entrance fee to the Garden and you will be provided with a guided tour.
When: June 15th (Wednesday)
Time: 2.00 p.m. but we meet at 1 p.m.
Venue: Welcome Centre, ul. św. Marcin 78 (street level)
Duration: 60 min.
