Dear AMU students, postgraduates and academics!
Rector Prof. Bogumiła Kaniewska cordially invites you to participate in an event organised by Perspektywy, whose academic partner is AMU - WOMEN IN TECH SUMMIT. It will be held on 14-15 June 2023 in Warsaw.
The Summit is two very intensive days of discussions about the latest twists and turns in technology and our collective future within this context - with a programme of 4 stages, a series of 60 specialised workshops, tech talks, a Career Expo with stands of almost 100 of the most innovative global technology companies, a Mentoring Zone where you will be able to take part in one of 500 individual tutoring sessions with outstanding female leaders and leaders of the technology world, and dozens of side events.
The Perspektywy Women in Tech Summit 2023 also features 150 inspiring speakers and distinguished special guests. This year they will include Francesca Cavallo, activist and author of the book "Bedtime Stories for Young Rebels", translated into 50 languages, and Mark Brzezinski, US Ambassador to Poland. Keynote speakers are Joanne Hannaford, Chief Technology & Operations Officer at Credit Suisse AG, Laura Koormann, Head of the Digital Solutions IT Team at Continental, and Grzegorz Cimochowski, Head of the Business Advisory Department at KPMG, among others.
The event will be accompanied by a number of additional events - meetings at companies, a scientific seminar for female IT researchers and an evening gala with the presentation of TOP10 Women in Cloud Computing titles. Highlights of this year's conference will be cases of artificial intelligence and machine learning, deep tech, cloud solutions, quantum computers and digital ecology, and WEB 3.0 and NFT.
Participants from AMU are guaranteed free attendance at the event, including workshops - after registering via an online form they will receive access codes to the various events and further instructions by email within a few days.
Funds for travel, per diem and accommodation, should be inquired from the directors of the doctoral schools - in the case of doctoral students, and from the deans - in the case of students.
