The International Polish-Ukrainian Conference on Agricultural and Food Law

The Department of Agricultural, Food and Environmental Law (Faculty of Law and Administration, Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań, Poland) and the National Scientific Centre “Institute of Agrarian Economics", Kyiv, Ukraine invite you to participate in the
international Polish-Ukrainian Conference “Challenges regarding innovation and intellectual property in the agri-food sector within sustainable development and European integration”.

The conference will take place on December 8 2023 (Friday) in a hybrid form, i.e. on the MS Teams platform and at the Faculty of Law and Administration at Adam Mickiewicz University, 53 Niepodległości Street in Poznań, lecture hall 4.14

The objective of the Conference is, firstly, to assess the significance and establish the extent to which legal regulations are conducive to innovation, including the development of intellectual property in the agricultural and food sectors, and secondly, to compare innovation in different countries concerning global, regional and national agricultural challenges (e.g. European integration, climate change) and to identify the impact of European Union membership on innovation activity. It is also essential to create cooperation and dialogue with Researchers and Experts interested in innovation in the agricultural and food sectors.

The speakers include an official from the European Commission DG AGRI in Brussels and researchers and Professionals from Argentina, Brazil, Estonia, Greece, Spain, Poland, Turkey, Ukraine and Italy.
