A visit by guests from Zhaoqing University

For nearly 20 years, the AMU Faculty of Polish and Classical Philology has been cooperating with Zhaoqing University in China. On Wednesday, July 3rd, a delegation led by the Rector, Prof. Yechun WU visited AMU.

The guests first visited AMU's Welcome Centre, where the employees of the International Relations Centre introduced the University and discussed the bilateral exchange programme and activities for international students during the academic year.

The members of the delegation then visited the Rector's Office, meeting with the Rector, Prof. Bogumiła Kaniewska, and the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, Prof. Rafał Witkowski. The visitors also had the chance to talk to the authorities of the AMU Faculty of Polish and Classical Philology and the AMU Faculty of Political Science and Journalism and to explore the AMU Centre for Advanced Technologies, shown on a guided tour by its director, Professor Artur Stefankiewicz.

Talks included student exchange within the framework of a bilateral agreement, joint study programmes, postgraduate studies, the exchange of doctoral students and academic staff and the joint organisation of summer schools.
