Admissions at AMU: recruitment rules

On 1 June, the admissions process for degree programmes at AMU will kick off. Applicants can choose from over 200 degree programmes and specialisations. If you wish to join the student community of one of the most prestigious universities in Poland, be sure to familiarise yourself with the admission rules. Please note that the entire enrolment process will be conducted online via the Online Admission System (rekrutacja.amu.edu.pl/en).

Steps in the Online Admissions System (OAS)

  • create an account,
  • Enter the necessary personal details,
  • enrol for a course | specialisation (you are free to enrol for as many programmes as you like) – before applying, check the level, profile and type of programme and ensure that these are the ones you are interested in,
  • pay the enrolment fee for the course | specialisation (Information about the enrolment fee for a specific programme can be found in the OAS under the programme details.);
  • Please provide your matura exam results, school-leaving exam results, or final degree classification.
  • Attach a photo file (make sure it is high-resolution, since it will be needed for the personal questionnaire and your student ID card);
  • Attach documents obtained abroad for formal verification.

A schedule indicating the deadlines for each step is available on the OAS page for each study programme. It also includes a list of required documents and an overview of the admissions process.

OAS Account

The account you create in the Online Admission System will serve as a platform for receiving information regarding the admissions process. It will also be used for the mutual exchange of documents related to the recruitment process. Please note that registration in the OAS will be available from 1 June.

Through OAS, you will obtain:

  • information on the dates of entrance examinations or competency interviews (if applicable),
  • the results of the admissions process (recruitment results),
  • other messages,
  • the results of the appeals process (if an appeal is lodged),
  • a certificate of enrolment on the student register,
  • a referral for a medical examination,
  • a decision on refusal of admission to the programme,
  • And if you appeal against the decision on refusal of admission, you will also be notified of the decision on this matter via OAS.
