The Faculty of Biology has become a partner in the European Cooperation Programme in Scientific and Technical Research (COST).
In addition, Prof Grażyna Liczbińska from the same faculty was elected Chair of the Steering Committee (Management Committee) representing Poland.
COST is an EU-funded programme enabling scientists to build interdisciplinary research networks in Europe and beyond. The programme provides funds for the organisation of conferences, meetings, training courses, short scientific exchanges and other network-building activities related to a wide range of disciplines.
