AMU is back in China

A delegation from the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań, including the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation, prof. Rafał Witkowski, the Dean of the Faculty of Polish and Classical Philology, prof. Tomasz Mizerkiewicz, the Director of Interdisciplinary Individualised Studies in the Humanities and Social Sciences, prof. Rafał Dymczyk, a Member of the Board of the Wielkopolska Region, Paulina Stochaniałek, Director of the Doctoral School of Languages and Literatures, prof. Piotr Śliwiński and Deputy Director of the Centre for Advanced Technologies, prof. Artur Stefankiewicz, under the leadership of the Rector, prof. Bogumiła Kaniewska held a series of meetings with representatives of Guandong University of Foreign Studies and Zhaoqing University in China.

As reported on the Individualised Studies in the Humanities and Social Sciences profile, during the visit, a connection was established with the City University of Hong Kong and Tianjin University of Technology, thanks to which students of Interdisciplinary Individualised Studies in the Humanities and Social Sciences can obtain several places in summer schools organised in these facilities.

Furthermore, a Memorandum of Cooperation between Adam Mickiewicz University and Zhaoqing University, which expands the level of cooperation between the two institutions in the areas, among others, of think-tank and operating scholarly journals, was also signed at the visit.
