AMU scientists featured in the Best Scientists in the World By Discipline 2025 ranking

Nineteen scientists from the Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznan, representing 22 disciplines, have been ranked in the Best Scientists in the World By Discipline 2025 ranking.  The ranking is published by Research.com, an online platform providing academic rankings and educational resources.

The Best Scientists in the World By Discipline 2025 ranking is based on three indicators:

  • D-Index (includes only articles and citation values related to the discipline being studied, as opposed to the overall H-index, which takes into account publications from all disciplines)
  • Citations
  • Publications

The table shows the successes of scientists affiliated with AMU, including a breakdown by discipline, world ranking and grade for Poland. The disciplines most strongly represented by the university in the ranking are Chemistry (6 persons) and Ecology and Evolution (5 persons).
