From 31 August to 1 December 2025, we are pleased to host Dr Tetiana Kuzmin from Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University within the framework of the KRASP and Elsevier scholarship programme aimed at enhancing the scientific potential of Ukrainian doctoral students and researchers.
Under the supervision of Prof. Lucyna Błażejczyk-Majka, Dr Kuzmin is conducting research at AMU on "Strategic management of public-private partnerships in the post-war socio-economic reconstruction of Ukraine." The scholarly work is an in-depth analysis of the theoretical foundations of public-private partnerships (PPPs), their institutional and legal frameworks, the investment potential of this mechanism, as well as Poland's experience in implementing infrastructure projects within the PPP model. The study analyses the investment potential of partnerships, the specifics of housing resource management, and the prospects for using PPP in the post-war reconstruction of critical sectors in Ukraine.
"The research internship at Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznan, was a significant stage in the development of my academic work. My motivation for being involved was to learn about Poland's experience in implementing public-private partnerships, as the country has successfully applied the PPP model in infrastructure, energy efficiency, housing policy and local government management." ~ dr Tetiana Kuzmin
The KRASP and Elsevier scholarship for doctoral students and researchers from Ukraine is a unique opportunity for Ukrainian doctoral students and researchers to pursue scientific development in Poland. The scholarship programme organised by the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland (KRASP) in cooperation with Elsevier aims to strengthen the research potential of individuals involved in science and research at Ukrainian universities.
The scholarship enables participants to undertake a short-term research internship in Poland, during which they can conduct their own scientific projects, collaborate with Polish universities, and benefit from the resources of local academic centres.
