Last week, AMU had the pleasure of hosting a delegation from the Universidad Estatal Amazónica, consisting of: Rector Dr David Sancho, Secretary General, MSc. Carlos Edmundo Manosalvas Sánchez, and Tenured Professor Dr Olivier Ángel Méric.
The extensive visit programme included, among other things, an introduction to the scientific potential of AMU through tours of the AMU NanoBioMedical Centre, the Centre for Advanced Technologies, the Faculty of Political Science and Journalism, and the AMU Science and Technology Park.
The rich programme also featured meetings with the Deans of the faculties and Directors of the centres, as well as the opportunity to participate in AMU Mental Health Day - a university-wide event promoting well-being and self-care.

The visit culminated in a meeting at Colegium Minus between the Delegation and the AMU authorities - Rector Prof. Bogumiła Kniewska, Vice-Rector for International Cooperation Prof. Rafał Witkowski, and AMU Chancellor Dr Marcin Wysocki.
During the meeting, a cooperation agreement was signed, strengthening ties between the two institutions and opening new opportunities for the mutual exchange of scientific ideas, students, and staff.
