On March 21-26, 2023, dr Kornelia Boczkowska attended the 61st Ann Arbor Film Festival as a screener, screening advisor, moderator and panellist.
Dr Boczkowska reviewed over 100 films for this year’s edition of the festival and moderated a special program Celluloid Body curated by Diana Sánchez Maciel. She was also chosen as one of the three panellists for the panel discussion What the Hell Was That?, discussing Deborah Stratman’s recent film, Laika (2021). The panel is moderated by Daniel Herbert from the University of Michigan who has been an Ann Arbor Film Festival favourite for more than a decade.
The Ann Arbor Film Festival is an annual film festival held in Ann Arbor, MI and is currently directed by Leslie Raymond. Established in 1963, the AAFF is the oldest and largest experimental film festival in the world and one of the premier film festivals for showcasing the work of independent and experimental filmmakers.
