Inauguration of the summer semester for Erasmus+ and exchange programme students - report

Welcome to the Adam Mickiewicz University family!

Jointly with approximately 360 new students from the Erasmus+ and exchange programmes representing 17 different countries and 4 continents, we officially launched the summer semester at the AMU Faculty of Law and Administration.

Words of welcome were delivered by
  • the Vice-Rector for International Cooperation - Prof. Rafał Witkowski,
  • a representative of the School of Polish Language and Culture for Foreigners - Dr Anna Roter-Bourkane,
  • a representative of the City Development and Foreign Relations Department of Poznań City Hall - Ms Anna Wawdysz,
  • members of the AMU Erasmus+ Central Office and the AMU International Office - Ms Jagoda Jaskuła and Mr Paweł Sowa,
  • the Director of the AMU International Relations Centre - Ms Joanna Barszcz,
  • as well as delegates from ESN UAM Poznań - Karolina Jankowska and Daria Milczewska.

The whole event was hosted by the AMU Welcome Centre team.

The inauguration was, not only an essential introduction to the functioning of the university, but also allowed participants to meet new friends and discover more about our city and the people working in the university's offices daily.

We wish all the newly-arrived students a successful semester, not only the best grades but above all, an unforgettable time spent within the walls of our university
