It is with great sadness that we say farewell to Mrs Maria Buzińska, a long-time employee and Vice-Chancellor for Logistics and Administration at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań.
It is another sad piece of news that has reached our academic community.
She headed, among others, the Student Relations Office and the Administrative and Economic Section. She was an invaluable support for both the university staff and the authorities of the City of Poznań. Her help in solving various problems, both professional and organisational, was the foundation for the effective functioning of many structures and resources.
She demonstrated commitment to social and charitable activities. She provided organisational and financial support for a variety of initiatives, such as the Patria Nostra history competition, Poznań Flower Carpets, aid campaigns for Ukraine, as well as charity concerts organised by the Mam Marzenie Foundation and the Redemptoris Missio Humanitarian Aid Foundation.
