On 18 and 19 May, the Vice-Dean for Student Affairs and Education Prof Krzysztof Skibski, and Prof. Agnieszka Kula participated in the meetings with representatives of two universities in the Kazakh capital: Nazarbayev University (an English-speaking university) L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University (the largest university in Astana).
During the visit to Nazarbayev University, the faculty delegation was accompanied by the chargé d'affaires of the Republic of Poland in Kazakhstan, Tomasz Kollat.
Discussions with members of the School of Sciences and Humanities (NU) and the Faculty of Philology (ENU) concerned future didactic cooperation between our faculties and the possibility for Polish and Kazakh students to recognise each other's language and culture.
