On 11 January, the annual New Year's Concert was held in the AMU Auditorium. The repertoire included both traditional Christmas carols and popular music.
The performance consisted of two parts. The event began with a performance by the Adam Mickiewicz University Chamber Choir conducted by Krzysztof Szydzisz and Joanna Piech-Sławecka, accompanied by soloists Anna Alexandrowicz (soprano solo), Maciej Afanasjew (electric violin), Dominik Haliniak (trumpet), Wojciech Łuczniewski (saxophone), Hubert Trojanek (organ) and Paweł Głowiński (piano), who was also the author of the arrangements.
The second part of the concert featured the Adam Mickiewicz University Academic Choir conducted by Beata Bielska and the Adam Mickiewicz University Chamber Orchestra conducted by Aleksander Gref, accompanied by soloists: Zoriana Dudynets (soprano), Antoni Wilk (tenor), Alina Szczepan and Anna Gicała (piano) and Marta Sufryd (violin).
