Prof Mikołaj Nkollo of the Department of Portuguese Studies of the Institute of Romance Languages and Literatures at the Faculty of Modern Languages and Literatures has won the prestigious Bekker Scholarship funded by the Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange.
As part of the grant, Prof. Nkollo will have the opportunity to pursue his project on 'Diachronic lexicography and its grammatical extensions - the Electronic Dictionary of Old Gascon' at the University of Zurich, under the guidance of Prof. Martin Glessgen.

The Mieczysław Bekker Programme of NAWA was established to support the international mobility of doctoral students, researchers and academics in their pursuit of scientific excellence by providing them with the opportunity to develop their research in foreign research and academic centres around the world.
