On January 26, 2022 Her Magnificence Rector of Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań passed the Ordinance no. 166/2021/2022, regarding the rules of functioning of the University during summer semester of 2021/2022 academic year in relation with the COVID-19 outbreak.
Hybrid (blended) courses are intended for students of first, second, and long-cycle Master’s degree programmes. Practical and project-based classes, seminars, and tutorials, as well as lectures in groups not exceeding the maximum of 30 students will be held in form of campus-based, traditional learning. In justified cases, if technical infrastructure and facilities provided by a given Faculty so permits, upon the dean’s request, the vice-rector for education can give their consent to increase classroom limits.
Only persons free from the upper respiratory tract infection symptoms (such as fever, cough, muscle pain) are allowed to participate in on-campus classes.
Setting up a course schedule the dean follows, if possible, the principle that the methods of education shall be unified within one day.
Classes for participants of doctoral studies and PhD students at doctoral schools, post-graduate students and participants of skills improvement courses as well as participants of workshops and courses organised by the Open University will be held in a traditional, on-campus form. Upon a request of the head of post-graduate studies, skills improvement courses, and workshops the competent Vice-Rector can give their consent that classes are conducted remotely by means of distance-teaching methods and techniques- if provided for in the programme of studies.
All the actions are undertaken pursuant to the provisions of law, including the National Sanitary and Epidemiological Station, the Ministry of Education and Science, and the Ministry of Health recommendations and guidelines.
