The journal Studies in Second Language Learning and Teaching (SSLLT), published by the Faculty of Pedagogy and Fine Arts in Kalisz, has achieved significant success in the latest Journal Citation Reports (JCR) for 2024. The journal was ranked seventh in the category of linguistics journals.
The SSLLT's impact factor in 2024 was 5.4, an increase of 1.7 compared to the previous year. Such a high position is a great accomplishment, especially considering that the journal has been published since 2011 and has surpassed many renowned titles with a much longer publishing tradition in the ranking.
Studies in Second Language Learning and Teaching is a peer-reviewed scientific journal published four times a year by the Department of English Studies of the Faculty of Pedagogy and Fine Arts in Kalisz. It publishes articles in English devoted to theoretical and empirical research on foreign language learning and teaching. The journal covers issues related to language acquisition in various conditions and practical aspects of language teaching, such as programme selection, material design, classroom methods and assessment. The founder and editor-in-chief of SSLLT is Prof. Mirosław Pawlak from the Faculty of Pedagogy and Fine Arts in Kalisz.
