On 26-28 April, on the initiative of the Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland and the Conference of Rectors of Uzbekistan, The Conference of Rectors of Higher Education Institutions of Uzbekistan and Poland was organised in Tashkent.
On behalf of AMU, the event was attended by the Rector of the University, Prof.Bogumiła Kaniewska, who co-chaired the panel "Platforms of cooperation between universities of Poland and Uzbekistan".
It is worth mentioning that the Polish delegation consists of almost 30 representatives of higher education institutions and other organisations.
Unquestionably, the event marks a significant milestone in strengthening cooperation in the higher education field between the two countries
