Almost PLN 13 million (€3,006,920.00) amounts to the total grant for Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań, in the Erasmus+ mobility competition to EU member states and countries associated with the programme in the 2025 edition (KA131 component). This is a 36% increase compared to last year's call, and it is the highest grant received by AMU in the history of the Erasmus+ programme at the university. - This sum will provide financing for mobility for almost a thousand people, informs Prof Tomasz Brańka from Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań
As Prof. Tomasz Brańka adds, for several years AMU has been trying to increase funds for study visits of academic and administrative staff: - Usually, the funds obtained were insufficient. In 2024, we had 64 places available for lecturers and 65 for the entire administration. This year, we managed to increase these results: 151 places for lecturers and 138 for administration, says the researcher involved in the Erasmus+ programme at AMU. - We have also received funds to organise 5 BIPs (Blended Intensive Programme) - programmes combining online teaching with a short stay of international students at AMU. The amount received is EUR 40,000, the maximum grant limit provided in this edition of the competition,' says Prof. Tomasz Brańka.
Erasmus+ is a European Union programme in education, training, youth and sport. From the programme's inception in Poland, i.e. for over 20 years, the AMU has been actively involved in its implementation. The following activities are possible under the “Higher education learning mobility” action: student and university staff mobility.
