Trial access to LitBase and Medline Ultimate databases

The University Library in Poznań invites you to enjoy trial access to two databases: LitBase and Medline Ultimate.

LitBase

LitBase supports research on the most studied authors, poetry, fiction, plays and non-fiction worldwide, providing resources including author interviews, bibliographies, biographies, book reviews, classic books, encyclopaedias and glossaries, non-fiction, full-text journals, literary criticism, novellas, plays, poems, short stories and more. Among the 1.5 million references, users will find historical and contemporary texts from various parts of the world, including Africa, Australia, Canada, the Caribbean, Europe, Ireland, Latin America, New Zealand, Scandinavia, Slavic countries, the United Kingdom and the United States. Trial access lasts until 30 November 2024.

Medline Ultimate

MEDLINE Ultimate is the most comprehensive database of full-text biomedical and medical journals public. It provides access to the complete texts of more than 2,800 journals indexed in MEDLINE, of which more than 1,650 are active full-text non-open access journals. MEDLINE®Ultimate is the authoritative research tool for medical literature and provides access to medical information in general medicine, healthcare, pharmacology, neurology, molecular biology, genetics, genomics, histology, microbiology and many other areas of medical science. The database uses the medical thesaurus MeSH (Medical Subject Headings). Trial access will last until the end of 2024. From January 2025, the database will be available as a paid subscription in the EBSCO suite.
