Inspiring speeches, many smiles, and 740 Erasmus+ and Exchange students just embarking on their AMU adventure.
Yesterday, we welcomed the new academic year together with Erasmus+ and Exchange students from 42 different countries around the world.
The majority of them came from Kazakhstan, Spain, and Türkiye.
Traditionally, the words of welcome were delivered by - the AMU Vice-Rector for International Cooperation - Prof. Rafał Witkowski, the Institutional Coordinator of the Erasmus+ programme - Prof. Tomasz Brańka, head of the AMU International Relations Centre - Ms Joanna Barszcz, Anna Roter-Bourkane, PhD - representing the Centre of Polish Language and Culture for International Students, Mrs Anna Wawdysz on behalf of the City of Poznań, Mr Paweł Sowa on behalf of the Erasmus+ Office and International Relations Office, Ms Patrycja Hamulak - a representative of the Erasmus and Strategic Programmes - Mr Łukasz Stypa from the AMU Physical Education and Sports Centre, Mrs Natalia Labiak and Mrs Zofia Iwanowska from AMU Welcome Centre and the president of the ESN UAM Poznań- Mr Bartosz Douglas Milne.
