Their AMU adventure has Begun!
The 403 newly arrived Erasmus+ and exchange students joined us at the AMU Faculty of Law and Administration today to launch the New Summer Semester. This semester, the largest group of newcomers came from Turkey and Kazakhstan.
As is tradition, hearty words of welcome were delivered by the
- Vice-Rector for International Cooperation - prof. Rafał Witkowski,
- the Director of the AMU International Relations Centre - Ms Joanna Barszcz,
- Erasmus+ Institutional Coordinator – Prof. Tomasz Brańka
- a representative of the School of Polish Language and Culture for Foreigners - Dr Anna Roter-Bourkane,
- a representative of the City Development and Foreign Relations Department of Poznań City Hall - Mrs Anna Wawdysz,
- members of the AMU Erasmus+ Central Office and the AMU International Office - Ms Jagoda Czechlewska and Mr Paweł Sowa,
- the representatives of the AMU Welcome Centre - Ms Natalia Labiak and Ms Zofia Bronikowska,
- the member of the Department of Physical Education and Sport AMU - Dr Michał Marciniak
- as well as the President of ESN UAM Poznań - Mr Bartosz Douglas Milne.
The inaugural event was an outstanding opportunity to discover the university, its regulations, rich history and traditions, as well as the vibrant City of Poznań.
