The Centre for Catalan Studies at the Faculty of Modern Languages and Literatures is honoured to invite you to a violin concert performed by Víctor Pastor, which will be held on Thursday, 12 October, at 6.30 p.m. in the Lubrański Hall at Collegium Minus.
Víctor Pastor completed specialist studies at the Fryderyk Chopin University of Music in Warsaw. During his stay in Poland, he collaborated with various chamber ensembles specialised in music of the Baroque era.
Since 2020, he has been recognised with a variety of awards: first prize, 'absolute first prize' at the Cambridge International Music Competition in the UK International Conducting Competition and several awards in the field of chamber music: Vivaldi International Music Competition, Franz Schubert International Music Competition or Beethoven International Competition.
His career so far has been notable for his cooperation with orchestras, including young orchestras, from all over Europe, e.g. Jove Orquestra Nacional de Catalunya, International Lutoslawski Youth Orchestra, Jong Metropool Orkest, Nationaal Jeugd Orkest in the Netherlands, Junge Norddeutsche Philharmonie and ADDA Simfònica.
