As part of the DigiUni project, we invite you to participate in the International Conference “Digital Transformation for Ukrainian Higher Education: Building an Integrated Ecosystem,” which will take place on November 27 at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv in a hybrid format.
The aim of this conference is to bring together the Ministry of Education and Science, the
Ministry of Digital Transformation, the National Agency for Quality Assurance, leaders, and digital transformation units of Ukrainian universities, and representatives of European partner institutions, to:
1. Share DigiUni progress, lessons learned, and risks
2. Bridge project work with the national digital and education policy
3. Engage universities in a broader roadmap of the digital ecosystem
4. Explore synergies with parallel initiatives
Ukraine stands at a critical stage of recovery, resilience, and reform. The higher education sector, already challenged by the disruptions of war, displacement, and infrastructure damage, must accelerate digital transformation not as a fringe initiative, but as a foundational reform. The DigiUni project (Digital University — Open Ukrainian Initiative) provides a strategic scaffold: designing a nationwide digital education ecosystem, creating an all-Ukrainian platform (DigiPlatform) and DigiCentres at universities, and establishing standards, content, and virtual mobility among institutions.
