Ladies and Gentlemen,
We are pleased to invite you to participate in the International Academic Conference titled “Giving Every Child a Voice: Inclusive Actions for Inclusive Communication.” The conference will be held on April 30, 2026, at the AMU Faculty of Educational Studies.
The event will include presentations on key issues concerning inclusive education and enhancing communication among children and young people with diverse developmental and educational needs. In particular:
- children’s rights to participate in society and express their own views,
- inclusion in pre-school, school and higher education,
- alternative and augmentative communication (AAC),
- support for children with disabilities, including those with neurodiversity,
- diversity-sensitive language and fostering a culture of dialogue,
- collaboration between teachers, specialists, parents and the local community,
- technologies supporting communication and accessibility,
- good practices and innovative solutions in inclusive communication,
- systemic and legal challenges associated with the implementation of inclusive education,
- research into children’s communication in culturally and linguistically diverse environments.
The conference will create a space for interdisciplinary exchanges of experiences between researchers and practitioners. It will also serve as a forum for discussion and for implementing tangible changes aimed at fostering an educational environment where every child has the opportunity to be heard and understood.
