Take part in Quality in Education Week at Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznan, (AMU) – the 9th edition of the event, now expanded to include almost all of the University’s faculties, will be held from 20 to 24 April.
Under the slogan ‘Passion in education. Educating passion, we offer a programme rich in lectures, workshops and academic debates on a variety of topics, reflecting the specific nature of individual disciplines and different teaching perspectives.
Quality in Education Week is a time for academic staff and students to come together, collaborate, discuss, seek inspiration and find the best solutions to shared challenges – whether arising from generational differences or the lack of regulation regarding the use of artificial intelligence tools. We focus on building relationships in which we learn from one another.
We want to draw your particular attention to two events.
The first is the conference opening, Quality in Education Week, organised by the newly established Centre for the Development of Educational Innovation ORID. The main theme of the presentations and discussions planned for the day is academic education in the face of intergenerational challenges. The conference will be held on Monday, 20 April from 9.30 a.m. to 3.00 p.m. at the AMU Faculty of History. Given its international nature, we will be offering simultaneous interpretation in Polish and English throughout the conference.
The second event is a university-wide debate on the use of artificial intelligence tools in the educational process. Join us on Thursday, 23 April, from 9.00 a.m. to 12.00 p.m. at Collegium Minus (Prof. Ludwika Dobrzyńska-Rybicka Hall) to discuss together the direction of regulations governing the use of AI at AMU. The event will be held in a hybrid format.
We recommend that you familiarise yourself with the programme for Quality in Education Week.
Detailed programmes for events organised by the faculties will be available shortly on the units’ homepages.
