On 20 October 2025, the AMU Faculty of Modern Languages and Literatures will host a scientific workshop entitled "Bidirectional cross-linguistic effects of structural similarity in child multilingualism." The event will feature plenary presentations by world-class experts in the study of childhood bilingualism and language attrition.
The workshop is a conclusion of the NorPol project, conducted under the supervision of Dr Kamil Długosz (Institute of Applied Linguistics / Cognitive and Affective Approaches to Language Laboratory "CoALab") and funded by the AMU-IDUB International Research Team competition. The project was led in collaboration with researchers from the Centre for Language, Brain & Learning at the Arctic University of Norway (Natalia Mitrofanova, Oleksandra Hrebenshchykova, Marit Westergaard, Serge Minor).
We cordially invite you to participate — both in person and online (link available on the attached poster). You can attend the entire event or select specific presentations that interest you.
