Artificial intelligence (AI) is increasingly becoming an integral part of the modern world, affecting various aspects of our lives, including education and science. AMU is actively involved in research and education in this rapidly developing field. We have recently launched a sub-site dedicated to AI, within which we have published recommendations and information materials developed by the Artificial Intelligence Team.
At https://amu.edu.pl/en/research/ai-at-amu, you will find recommendations for the use of generative artificial intelligence at Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań. The material was prepared for the AMU academic community by the Artificial Intelligence Team, chaired by Prof. Michał Banaszak, Vice-Rector for Digitization and Business Cooperation, School of Sciences. It is divided into three areas: Dissertations, Coursework and Scientific Work.
In addition, the Team has prepared a Glossary explaining terms related to generative artificial intelligence. It will familiarise you with the most essential terms, starting with 'machine learning', which allow you to understand the principles behind artificial intelligence and its generative variant.
Furthermore, as part of the newly created subpage, we will be publishing news about events at AMU related to the topic of AI. Get to know about upcoming conferences, workshops and open lectures.
News about the activities of the Centre for Artificial Intelligence - a unit established at AMU in December 2021 to carry out research in the development of artificial intelligence - will also be in focus. The Centre, located at the Faculty of Mathematics and Computer Science, implements scientific and R&D projects, integrating the research of scientists from various faculties of the Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznań and from outside our University - from leading scientific centres in Poland and abroad, and employed by economic entities. It cooperates with business entities in creating new solutions to be applied in enterprises.
We invite you to familiarise yourself with the new subpage and the materials provided:
