Event date:

AMU Mental Health Day

The World Health Organisation (WHO) has established October 10th as World Mental Health Day. The significance of caring for an individual's physical, mental and social well-being, safety, and ability to develop and achieve is recalled by the motto for this year's edition - "Make everyone's mental health and well-being a global priority".

To meet the needs of AMU students, employees and alumni, the AMU Psychological Development and Support, Support Office for Persons with Disabilities, and the Teaching and Learning Quality Assurance are hosting a Mental Health Day event at AMU on Friday, October 18th.

Workshops, lectures and sports activities will be held at the Morasko and Ogrody campuses, the Faculty of Pedagogy and Fine Arts in Kalisz, the AMU sports facilities, the AMU Institute of European Culture in Gniezno and the AMU Nadnotecki Institute in Piła.

To make it easier for all students at AMU to participate in the scheduled activities, personal passes will be distributed by volunteers on the day of the event as a justification for absence from classes during the hours of Mental Health Day. Academic teachers have the opportunity to attend lectures (no limit on places) with their study groups. Other academic members of staff can attend all events with the knowledge of their supervisors.

In addition, registration for AMU alumni will be launched on Friday, October 11th, at 3:00 p.m.

The workshop and lecture programme is available below. Registration for selected activities should be made via the form ( if no workshop/lecture is listed on the form, it indicates that the limit of places has been reached).

Please note - Enrolment is open by Tuesday, October 22nd, by noon or until places are filled early.
