Financial conditions

For students undertaking studies in a foreign language

  • The recruitment fee is 85PLN. The fee can be paid directly at the Online Admission System.
  • Students enrolling on a full-time first-year study programme in a foreign language starting in the academic year 2023/2024 shall pay a semester fee as specified in Appendix No. 7
  • Students undertaking their studies in a foreign language are NOT excluded from paying additional educational services fees listed in Appendix No. 3 and Appendix No. 6
  • Part-time studies in Polish - fees as per Attachment No. 1 to the Order.

For students undertaking studies in Polish

  • The recruitment fee is 85PLN. The fee can be paid directly at the Online Admission System
  • Foreigners who take up full-time studies in Polish pay a semester fee of PLN 3000.
  • Students undertaking their studies in a foreign language are NOT excluded from paying additional educational services fees listed in Appendix No. 3 and Appendix No. 6
  • Part-time studies in Polish - fees under Appendix No. 1 to the Order
    No. 309/2022/2023 of the Rector of Adam Mickiewicz University, Poznan from 22 March 2023.

No fees for full-time studies in Polish are charged to foreigners:

  • who are citizens of the Member States of the European Union, the Swiss Confederation or a member state of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) - a party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area - - the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, as well as their family members, living on the territory of the Republic of Poland (These persons are obliged to attach an identity card or passport to the Internet Recruitment System);
  • who have been granted a permit for permanent residence or long-term resident of the European Union and have a document that can confirm it - a Residence Card;
  • who have been granted refugee status in the Republic of Poland or enjoy temporary or subsidiary protection in the territory of the Republic of Poland and can present a document that confirms the aforementioned fact during the recruitment process (the candidate's account must include the Residence Card together with the decision on its granting);
  • have a certificate confirming the knowledge of Polish language as a foreign language, issued by the State Commission for the Certification of Proficiency in Polish as a Foreign Language, at least at the C1 level;
  • holding a valid Polish Charter („Karta Polaka”) or a decision on declaring Polish origin (Persons waiting for the Polish Charter may, during the recruitment process, present a decision on granting the Polish Charter, bearing in mind that no more than three months may pass since the date of issuing the decision);
  • who are a spouse, ascendant or descendant of a citizen of the Republic of Poland residing in the territory of the Republic of Poland (Please note that it is necessary to attach all documents that confirm kinship and citizenship of the family member - birth/marriage certificates and passports or ID cards)
  • who have a temporary residence permit due to the circumstances referred to in the Act of 12 December 2013 on foreigners (Journal of Laws of 2017, item 2206 and 2282 and of 2018, item 107, 138 and 771):
  1. Article 159 (1) - in connection with family reunification,
  2. Article 186(1)(3) - in connection with the possession of a long-term resident's EU residence permit granted by another Member State of the European Union,
  3. Article 186, paragraph 1, point 4 - you are a family member of a foreigner referred to in Article 186, paragraph 1, point 3, with whom you are staying on the territory of another Member State of the European Union and you accompany him or you want to reunite with him.

You should attach the Residence Card together with the decision on its granting.

Please note!

Foreigners must indicate the fact of having the above document in the Online Admission System and attach it.

Students undertaking studies without fees are not exempted from paying additional educational fees following Appendix No. 3 and Appendix No. 6.

Refund of the enrolment fee

You are entitled to a refund of the enrolment fee in the following circumstances only:

  • you have made an overpayment, i.e. you have paid more than the required fee,
  • the course of study was not commenced,
  • you withdrew from enrolment before the registration deadline specified for a given major,
  • you made a payment after the registration deadline specified for a given study programme, i.e. you are not considered in the recruitment process.

The enrolment fee is NOT refundable if you have received a refusal to enrol. The enrolment fee is returned upon your request submitted in the Online Admission System.

Change of study principles

If, in the course of your studies, you have acquired a document entitling you to pursue an unpaid full-time degree programme in Polish, please e-mail us at amuoes@amu.edu.pl with a request to change the study mode and attach a scan of the document.
